This week I was able to experience a couple of special moments as a pastor. On Monday, I was able to serve with Dr. Charles Scrivener as he served the Lord’s Supper on Monday at Solaris Healthcare to those that he leads in Bible study every Monday. It was a sweet time of worship. Over the course of the week I was able to meet with and pray with 3 individuals desiring to follow in believer’s baptism at Hopeful Baptist Church. I am grateful for our leaders making Kingdom impact through our ministries. 

Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 5 PM, we will have a special called business meeting in the Life Center. We have 2 items on the agenda. We will take action on individuals desiring to join our church family and take action on property that has been offered to Hopeful Baptist Church. 

We have a few events in front of us at Hopeful Baptist:

• February 1 - Special Called Business Meeting at 5 PM 

• February 8th- Baptism and Super Sunday!

• Invite your family and friends

• February 9th - Iron Men 

• February 10th - Senior Adult Valentine’s lunch at 11:30 AM in the student building

This Sunday, I will be preaching from Romans 6:15-23, “The Focus of our Obedience.”
