How Do I Share My Faith?

The gospel has the power to change everything! Placing our trust in Jesus releases us from sin and the guilt that holds us back. Think about what the gospel has done in your own life, and what a wonderful gift to share with those with whom you speak.

Jesus has the power to fill us with joy, save us, and save others. Sharing your faith in the gospel of Jesus will give the person you’re telling a chance to make a decision to trust in Him, too!

It’s not as difficult as we sometimes can make it. We can share our faith in 4 simple steps.

  • We were created by God, who is in control of all things. He created us to love, serve, and glorify Him.

  • We are all sinners and are separated from God. We need to be restored to Him.

  • Jesus came to die in our place, taking the sins of the world onto himself. Only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Son of man, can people be restored to God.

    His Resurrection: Acts 2:24

  • It is our response to have faith in Christ, repent for our sins and to seek God. When we do this, He will transform our lives. 

    Faith in Christ: When we decide to give Jesus our whole selves, and trust He forgives our sins. When we ask Him into our hearts, we have faith that we are going to heaven, that God has the power to transform our lives to glorify Him. Our new life in Jesus will last an eternity.

    Repent: When we repent and our life is given to Jesus, our heart, mind and behavior changes. We learn to deny ourselves and decide to serve the LORD giving the authority to Him completely.

    Transform: When we place our Faith in Christ and repent, our lives are transformed , changing the way we think and live to be pleasing to God.
